About

At Inno³, Célya Gruson-Daniel is responsible for developing open action research projects, as well as their strategic and methodological frameworks.
Her research focuses on the implementation of open models and commons-based approaches within various environments and sectors (research, government, education, culture, IT, etc.). Using qualitative methods (interviews, focus groups, etc.) and quantitative methods (surveys, digital methods, etc.), she seeks to understand the points of friction and tension arising from issues of openness among different stakeholders. By understanding “worldviews” and the respective uses of given systems, she aims to co-construct with the actors involved the interfaces necessary for the adaptation and adoption of new shared practices in the service of a sustainable ecosystem.
As part of her work, she is frequently involved in coordinating scientific events and seminars to facilitate the sharing and exchange of knowledge between different communities (researchers, field practitioners).
She also serves as an instructor at various research and higher education institutions, teaching digital methodologies (data collection, analysis, and management) through a pragmatic and participatory approach.

Skills

  • Digital transformation of organizations and ecosystems through open strategies (open science, open data, open source).
  • Consulting and support for the implementation of open science practices within institutions (Data Management Plan, FAIR principles, legal compliance, open source promotion, editorialization, etc.).
  • Qualitative research (surveys, in-depth interviews, usage studies, grounded theory analysis) supported by digital methods (mixed methods).
  • Facilitation of participatory and co-design workshops.
  • Project and event management (in-person and digital).
  • Writing of scientific articles, white papers, and blog posts.
  • Structuring and supporting research programs (grant applications, strategy, coordination, monitoring).
  • Training and fostering critical thinking about “digital technology.”
